Brenna stood on the edge of a cliff, looking down at swirls of mist. She strained to see what was on the other side of the mist, wanting to know what was there. She beat her wings a few times, hoping to help break up the mist but to no avail. Grumbling, she swooped down through the mist so that she could see what was there. As the mist slowly cleared, horror struck her. In front of her she found the entire X-Men team, visibly massacred. "No..." she whispered, backing up. "No no no..." She backed up into something. Turning around she found Shadow grinning at her, his insane laughter filling her head.
"NO!"
Brenna cried out, sitting up a little too fast. Holding her throat she looked around to find herself in the sick room. Last thing she remembered was being in the fight in the lounge... and Shadow strangling her. Her throat was hurting, her voice was raspy. Looking around for someone, anyone to tell her how long she had been out for.
