Thirteen poked her salad miserably. She hated salad. Honestly, she didn't care much for hospital food in general, but she put up with it. Actually, she put up with a lot of things. House, disgruntled patients, her disease, life in general...
She knew she was brooding and that she was doing it more and more lately. But her life was spinning out of control, and Remy couldn't seem to get a hold on it. Sure, she hadn't been doing drugs lately, but the sleeping with random people hadn't stopped. Oh, and then there was Foreman. He just made things more confusing...
While mulling things over, she didn't notice the fact that her pokes had turned into pretty violent stabs. Thirteen was in her own little world at that point.

Angel dragged her feet down to the cafeteria, not particularly hungry but she knew that if she didn't eat anything, Wilson would probably get upset with her. The one thing she found slightly aggravating about him, was his tendency to mother and worry over her. Maybe it was just because she was still adjusting to the idea of having a man actually caring about her.
She picked up a veggie tray and paid for it, scanning the room for somewhere to sit. Finding a free spot in front of another brunette, she sat down in front of her. "I hope you don't mind me joining you." She looked at the woman closer. "You're one of House's doctors right?"

Jumping at the sound of a woman's voice, Remy looked over to see a blonde woman sitting across from her. She immediately stopped stabbing her food. Thirteen hadn't even heard her sit down. She made a mental note to go into deep thought when she wasn't in a room full of people, otherwise she'd make a fool of herself.
"Oh, no, that's fine," she said, "Yeah, I am. Dr. Remy Hadley," Thirteen replied. She had no idea why so many people asked her about that. Were they impressed with it? Maybe. Not everyone could handle House and his insults and attitude towards life. She wondered how she even remained sane. He was always prying into her personal life...
She didn't say anything for the next few moments, and then noticed she was being impolite. "And who are you? I'm sorry. I don't really recognize you."

"Pleasure to meet you Dr. Hadley." Angel said politely, popping open the lid to the veggie tray she had. She looked down at the veggies and still didn't feel terribly hungry. "I'm Dr. Angel Fraser, head of Cardiology." She responded when Remy had inquired who she was. "It's alright, I tend to stay cooped up in my office or the cardiology wing. They don't seem to like letting me out." She chuckled, shaking her head.
She picked up a carrot stick and ate it, regretting not having picked up a coffee while she was in line. "So what brought you to Princeton Plainsboro?" She inquired, trying to make small talk. House had mentioned that the crew he had now was his second crew, Chase, Cameron, and Foreman having been the original "ducklings" as he called them.

"It's alright, I tend to stay cooped up in my office or the cardiology wing. They don't seem to like letting me out." Remy laughed softly, not very feeling very humorous lately. She then glanced at her salad, pushing it away. Thirteen wouldn't eat the unappetizing thing anyway.
"So what brought you to Princeton Plainsboro?"
Remy had to think about this for a few moments. Really, she just wanted a challenge. Like she'd told her boss once before, her not knowing if she has the disease or not pushed her to do things like work under a crazy man like Dr. House. But now she knew, and sometimes, it was difficult to not just end it all.
"I liked the thought of a challenge, you know, to work under Dr. House and all,” she replied. “Word got around he was hiring, and he’s got a reputation, so I decided to try it out.”

"Well, working with House can be a challenge." Angel smiled, poking at her veggies. Picking up a cherry tomato she popped it in her mouth. "Just being his friend is a challenge." She added, reminiscing on their friendship so far. "You did make the right choice. Although his wacky ethics and methods, House is probably one of the best diagnosticians around."
Sighing, she poked at a carrot stick again, suddenly rather not hungry at all. Closing the lid, she looked up at Remy. "You look a little down. Things not going so good?" She inquired, trying to be friendly. "I know House can be an ass, and I wish I could say he gets better, but you just have to kinda suck it up. If you need a place to hide, my office is always open. I seem to be running a support group for those who deal with House."
