Taub was in a rather cheerful mood today. He wasn't sure why exactly, though. Maybe it had something to do with the lecture Cuddy had asked him to give tomorrow night on Congenital Syndromes. Maybe it had something to do with finally talking to House. Maybe it had something to do with the fact this he felt his fortunes were changing for the good---that things were finally going his way for once in his life.
Whatever the reason for his great mood, Taub found himself skipping lunch to come into the lecture hall he was scheduled to give the talk in. He stepped up onto the stage and sat down at the desk. Taub opened up the folder where he had all of his notes.
He shuffled through the papers and took out a pen from his lab coat pocket. There was no better way to put the finishing touches on his speech than to be in the room where he was going to be giving it.

Post by Dr. Allison Cameron on Apr 17, 2009 15:35:20 GMT -7
Allison Cameron was on break - and God, did she enjoy being on break. Today had been one of those hellish days in the emergency room, patient after patient. Most of them had been minor, but they were still piling up one after another. Easily, Cameron could've taken a break by telling someone - after all, she was the head of the department, but she loved her job enough to not do so. When the time came for her break, she took it.
She walked down the hall, looking around. She knew where she was, remembering the last time she had been there. It had to have been when House was picking new people, and Chase had the bets going on - and everyone, and did she mean everyone, had been piled up to see who was getting fired that day. Cameron took a step in, surprised to see someone in there. Slowly, she titled her head to the side, trying to figure out who it was.
Eventually, the picture clicked with a name in her head. It was Dr.Taub, one of House's current team members.

Taub felt a presence in the room. He looked up at Dr. Cameron, and it didn't take him long to put a name with the face. How she--or anyone else for that matter--had been able to put up with House for three years, Taub would never know.
He finished up the sentence he was writing and then placed his pen down. "Dr. Cameron," he said, looking back up at her. He wasn't even going to bother introducing himself, knowing that she probably already knew who he was.
