Character Information
Name: Lawrence Kutner
Age: Thirty
Personality:
Dr. Kutner is perhaps one of the most eager to please citizens in the state of New Jersey. He has become familiar and accepting to change, which allows for his open-mindedness and outgoing nature. Although friendly and energetic, this often borderlines brashness, though he does not display this as often as a certain Dr. Hadley does. His type of irrational behaviour stems from his impatience, causing himself and sometimes others more trivial harm than good. Seriousness is close to a stagnant thing for him, which is why he often acts impulsively to simply adapt to it. And yet, deep down the child on the outside, he demonstrates responsibility and dignity. He receives most of his duty with respect and modesty, but whether it is truly such or simply used to suck up is known only to him. However laid-back he is, Kutner is certainly someone who is trustworthy and add a touch of cleverness that is crucial to a case and you've got Kutner in his essence. Of course, he is hardly the best rule abiding citizen alive. Lawrence proves to be quite daring, and enjoys the various assignments (albeit insane and illegal) that his boss gives him. After all, digging up bodies from graves is quite a pleasant change from the green-walled hospital. Actually, upon closer inspection, one would just realize that he is simply a child at heart.
History:
Lawrence does not remember much of his traumatic childhood. Although the milestone of having his parents die before he did is an upsetting event, Kutner does not recall his real parents enough to truly feel the loss. Sure, he probably knew that he was loved by the couple but Kutner eventually finds a new output in his new foster family. Or rather, foster families.
As a child, he wasn't the most agreeable or lovable one around the adoption center. His somewhat rebellious nature and speak-before-thinking attitude made prospective parents draw fine lines around the idea of adopting him. Larry, as he still is called today, didn't mind this at all. It wasn't until he was ten years old when the Kutner family agreed to adopt the rambunctious and curious Lawrence. Of course, being the only Indian in a predominantly Jewish family had its setbacks. He always felt left out and this made him act out. In the childish sense, he became "bad". He befriended bullies and approached many problems with intimidation and violence. This continued onto high school. And yet, in his second last year, after a close encounter with something that would have been quite similar to death (imagine someone pissed enough at him with a shotgun), Kutner had a change of heart.
Oh, he was still as mischievous as ever, but he managed to actually try this time around. Graduating as one of the top twenty in his class, it was quite surprising to everyone that the little Indian gang member could even achieve such a rank. College was a whole different experience of course. For some strange reason, he had gotten into a life science program and was excelling in it. The fair shares of parties and other experiences was in abundance but Kutner kept his head above the water. Graduating a year early, mostly because he didn't take summers off after listening to his adoptive mother drone on, Larry immediately entered medical school and graduated from that too.
He worked as a specialization intern in sports medicine for about three years before attempting to apply for the famous diagnostics team at PPTH. Originally #6 during the "games", he earned his right to be on House's team with his wit and determination. Not to say that he wasn't fired before hand, but it's the end that counts... for the most part. After a whole year of ups and downs, Kutner is still relatively happy enough to be work for (not with) the world famous misanthrope.

Fridays were normally oh so joyful days for any student. After all, it was the last day of school for the week and the beginning of the very short break from school. However, a certain dark haired male wasn’t particularly enjoying the weekend start. After skipping out on detention the previous day, Alexander Vi Britannia was escorted straight to the detention office immediately after school to ensure that he actually went. It was his fault for forgetting about his after school punishment, sure. However, he didn’t think it was rightly fair that his time in the dreaded room would be tripled. After all, he was only in detention because he skipped out on his first period class due to over sleeping. And it wasn't as if he was a regular in the detention office. In fact, he had only been in there once in his entire life in King's Corner, surprisingly enough. And yet, the seventeen year old sat inside the bare classroom, merely staring at the clock on the wall.
The dark cement walls that surrounded the room were unusually bare. It wasn't strange that the detention hall had no windows, but Alex could hear the cheerful chatter of students down the hall. Sighing in discontent manner, his brown eyes wandered around the room. There were two others in the classroom, both frequenters of the detention room. Alex didn't really care that he was in detention, for he knew he probably deserved it. What frustrated him though was that, thanks to his tripled time, he was stuck alone in the room for thirty more minutes with the stern looking and elderly Mrs. Heinz. It wouldn't do well to try and convince her to letting him go. After all, the teacher had the ability to persuade people and he definitely didn't want to make an excuse for her to test that ability out. Pursing his lips, he figured he would have to endure the painful detention. Well, he was merely bored and that was enough to irritate him to no end. He needed some excitement, something to do. Contemplating his situation, Alexander was simply about to give in and just stay for the rest of the half hour he had left until he felt a vibrating item in his coat pocket.
His eyes immediately averted themselves to the elderly lady. Alex was thanking the gods that he had put his phone on vibrate; otherwise his detention time would have been extended. After making sure that Mrs. Heinz was engrossed in her marking, Alexander placed his head on the desk to pretend that he was napping and took out his phone. His friend had just text messaged him to get out of detention in order to go to a party with them. Shutting his phone, the brown haired male's head shot up and he looked at the time. There was twenty-five minutes left. Placing his hand under his chin, he supported his arm on the desk as he considered his options. He could leave now, quite easily so, but suffer more consequences later. Or he could stay and miss out on a party. He doubted it for a moment though, for there was surely no way any party could start quite so early. Taking a deep breath, the young Britannia closed his eyes as he focused hard. Yes, he was going to get out.
Opening his eyes now, he focused hard on the teacher in front of him. Her head was still down, as she was reading over what seemed to be an essay. With a single breath that he held, Alexander's forehead began to glow a bright red colour and faintly shaping itself into a letter v. If the teacher had been watching, she could have immediately told him to stop and he would have to, due to her abilities. However, she was not and within seconds, the charging of his brainwaves was complete. Squinting his eyes slightly, he catapulted the "alpha" waves into his teacher. Within a blink, his teacher was frozen in to place. Alexander knew that he would regret it later, but his philosophy in life was overriding his guilt. He was to live life to his fullest after all. Maintaining a constant stream of brain waves, Alexander Vi Britannia ran out of the room. He was thankful that the door was open, as he was unable to move his arms to open it. After stepping outside, he continued running down the hall, sidestepping the various students that lingered around. Making sure he was in the next hallway, Alexander shook his head and stopped emitting them specifically at Mrs. Heinz. For a moment, the mark on his forehead burned brighter before immediately fading into nothingness again.
Leaning against the wall, the young man took several breaths. He was particularly exhausted from running and using his ability at the same time. However, he knew that he was getting better and adapting his endurance well. Within a few seconds, Alexander straightened himself out and cleared his throat, as if nothing had just happened and strode proudly out of the door into the school grounds. He could sense Mrs. Heinz anger and he knew that he was going to be in so much trouble later. However, he couldn't care less anymore. As his thoughts drove him to thinking about what his next punishment might be, Alexander's sense of surrounding failed him as he felt like he had just hit a body and knocked into someone.
