These are the general rules for the site, including avatar and signature regulations.
General
1. Please do not complain to the staff about problem members until you have tried to deal with it yourself. Especially not in the c-box (see C-Box Rules).
2. Department Heads----when your application is accepted, you will be messaged with the password to the Board Meeting Room. Do not lose the password. Do not give the password to anyone who is not a Department Head.
3. Applications----If you are applying to be a regular doctor or nurse, please use the regular application. If you are applying to be a Department Head (admin position!), use the Department Head Application. All applications are open to original characters.
4. Please keep excessive profanity to a minimum. The censor is in effect for words not normally heard on the show (such as the F-word, the C-word, and the N-word).
5. If you absolutely must have a thread more graphic than PG-13, MARK THE THREAD WITH THE RATING. I cannot stress this enough. No one wants to walk into an unmarked thread and see things that -should- be marked.
6. All threads will be considered open unless otherwise noted.
Avatar
1. All avatars should be of real people...preferably the celeb that actually plays your character if you are a canon, or the celeb you have chosen if you are an OC. You can have words on it if you choose.
2. If you have a cartoon or anime avatar, you will be asked to modify your avatar to comply with the rules.
3. Avatars should be maximum 100x100.
Signature
1. Signatures should not exceed 400 pixels in width. Any images bigger than about 400x250 will stretch the forum and increase loading time.
2. Cartoon images in signatures are acceptable, so long as they are not obnoxiously colored.
3. Keep glitter graphics to a minimum. They're pretty, but also obnoxious.
4. Signatures do -not- have to have your character portrayed in them. They can if you choose, however. Signatures can proclaim your pairing preferences, favorite quotes from any source(s), cartoon images you find amusing, etc.
4. The only thing(s) that should not be in your signature is excessive nudity and profanity.
