As he got up and started redressing, she figured she should probably do the same. Sitting up, she wondered what House had done with her panties. Spying them on his chair, she got up, already feeling a dull ache in her lower back. "Ugh...I'm not going to be able to sit down for a while," she commented, stretching before grabbing her panties off the chair and slipping them back on. She always felt a little sore after a round of particularly rough sex, and this time had been no different.
Locating her skirt, she shimmied back into it, and glanced over at House. She couldn't tell what he was thinking when he faced away from her. Not that she could tell when they were face-to-face, either. But that wasn't the point. The point was that she had no idea what was going through his mind. Hating to interrupt whatever thoughts he was having, she cleared her throat.
"Can I have my shirt back, Greg?" she asked, resisting the urge to put her hands on her hips.

Turning away from staring at the ease board, contemplating Cuddy's shirt, he turned around and faced Cuddy. She was half dressed, and insanely sexy. She had gone without her bra and that was all kinds of hot. He smirked.
"What?" He asked, still holding the red shirt, like a matador facing off the bull. "I thought you were going to make coffee. Like the naked chef," House made an appreciative sound as he stared at her breasts. Imagining Cuddy cooking with nothing but an apron and high heels. He'd have to make a note of it: convince Cuddy to do that one of these days. Either at his apartment or her home.
That would be so entirely sexy. He'd probably explode from all the sex he had been having lately. Try as he could, House couldn't feel any kind of negatives for that.

She rolled her eyes playfully. She'd missed this. Not just when she was in college, or interning, but on a day to day basis. She would never admit it aloud, but it was comments like those that kept her day normal. Well, as normal as the day in the life of a Dean of Medicine could ever be.
"So," she purred, sauntering up to him. "If I make coffee without a shirt, you'll give me back my shirt?" It was a pretty fair deal, now that she thought about it. Cuddy could only hope he agreed, or she was probably going to have to stay in here the whole day. She wasn't leaving this office shirtless.

When Cuddy had rolled her eyes playfully at his comment, House knew he had the one who was well trained in the art of receiving House's snark. His work was done. If he suddenly stopped with the sexual harassment, Cuddy would suffer withdrawal, like a crack addict without his hash pipe.
House put on a smirk. He stood his ground, standing firm, trying not to let Cuddy know just how much she affected him with that sultry walk up to him. "That's right," he challenged. "You know where the coffee machine is." Face her down, don't crack. Stare her in the eye, let her know he was serious. Well, as serious as he could be about anything.

"I do," she responded, moving past him to the kitchenette. Cuddy made sure to swish her hips provocatively as she passed him. Trying to make every move as sexual as possible, which wasn't hard without a shirt, she filled the water holder and added more grounds to the filter. Pressing the 'on' button, she turned to face House, a self-satisfied smirk on her lips.
"I did my part. Now, you need to hold up your end." Cuddy held out her hand, expecting to be given back her shirt. As she looked at him, she couldn't help but to feel that he was so sexy when he tried to be serious. Even more so when he actually was serious. "Or do you want me to actually give you the coffee before I can finish getting dressed?"

House pretended to think about it. Damn Cuddy and her sexy feminine wiles. "I'll give you your shirt." He held it up, "but not before you plant a big kiss on my smackeroos," he jested, leering at Cuddy. "If I had my way, you would never be dressed at all," he added, complimenting her in his usual Housian manner. "If you ever got cold, I'd warm you up."
He paused, imagining Cuddy in the princess Leia slave outfit, but that image led him to imagine her strangling him with her own chains. Not exactly the greatest of day dreaming fantasy material. Unless he was Han Solo. Then he'd be half blind, trying to see blur Leia!Cuddy. Someone should have told Han to shut his eyes when he was being placed in carbonite. Moron.
Shaking his head free of his stupid day dream, he eyed Cuddy speculatively. He had a number of fantasies featuring Cuddy taking a starring role over the years. It wasn't exactly hard, given some of the outfits she had worn in that time.

Cuddy contemplated the new offer for all of five seconds before swaying over to him. Grabbing her shirt with one hand, she reached up her other arm to wrap around his neck. A sexy smirk crossed her lips as she gazed hungrily into his eyes.
"As you wish," she whispered, leaning in and kissing him hard. Her hand tightened around his neck, pulling him closer, as she thrust her tongue into his mouth. Sure he was distracted, she pulled her shirt from his hand and drew away, her smirk still in place. "Thanks," she winked before putting her shirt back on. As she tugged it down and flipped her hair out of the collar, she noticed that the coffee was done.
Cuddy turned away again, moving back toward the coffee machine. Filling two cups, she took hers black and handed House his. "I don't know where you keep your sugar packets," she made an excuse, shrugging childishly.

House was not unaffected by the hungry look in Cuddy's eyes as she slunk up to him, sexy swish and curve of her hip. She distracted him so thoroughly, kissing him and examining him with her tongue that he barely noticed she had slipped the shirt from his grasp. It took him a moment to realize, as the blood flowed back into his brain.
He smirked, kissed dumb and stupid, that was Cuddy's super power right there. If only she could utilize that for everything. He accepted the cup of coffee from her, but made a face at the fact it was unsweetened. He made his way back to the counter and dug around for the sugar. Adding the sugar, he tasted the coffee. It was not bad. Cuddy had always made a good cup of joe.
"So," he said, casually. "I suppose you're just like me now, having your clinic patient wait for hours needlessly. I feel I am an excellent bad influence on you."

Laughing at him as he took the coffee, Cuddy went back to her chair. It was moments like this that she felt were truly worth living for. Moments like these that she wouldn't mind having every day. It didn't matter who's place they stayed at, as long as they could have these mundane, everyday, trivial moments together.
"I suppose so," she answered, sipping her coffee. She didn't mind that, though. "Though, I suppose in turn, you've become like me, actually caring about a patient," she suggested. She was, of course, referring to herself. She wondered where they would go from here. "So...when do we start moving into each other's places?" Cuddy smirked into her cup as she spoke. It was a simple enough question.

House spurted the coffee at Cuddy's sudden question. He coughed, sputtered really, for half a minute. He held up his hand, making a gesture to Cuddy to not worry about him.
"Why, Cuddy," he said as he recovered, stifling some coughs, "this is all going so fast! We haven't even gone on a date yet." He drew some breaths in, half a mind to glare at Cuddy, but wouldn't give her the satisfaction. She said that on purpose. She had to have done so. She was probably laughing it up inside. Move over Sith, Cuddy has her revenge right here!

As he started coughing, she made to put her cup down, but stopped at his raised hand. She sipped her coffee again as he regained control. Not exactly the reaction she'd expected, but it would do. Cuddy paused to think about his remarks.
"We'll just have to change that, won't we?" she smiled, setting down her cup. "How about Friday night? After you pick up your paycheck, we can go somewhere..." There she went, taking charge. Thinking that House might want some control in their relationship, she quickly added, "If that's okay with you. Or if you have any other ideas." She shrugged, letting him know that she didn't mind either way.

House smirked at Cuddy face full of guile, "are you sure, Cuddy? Gonna blow off that spa weekend with Angel? Cancel getting waited on hand and foot in exchange for my version of a date? It's an awkward dinner, with awkward conversation, culminating in my saying-- oh wait, I'm rehashing the weird date Cameron blackmailed me into."
House looked off in the middle distance, for effect, of course. Then his light blue eyes looked back at Cuddy, the expression in them suddenly softer, "go on your spa date, Cuddy. You deserve to take a weekend off after putting up with the hospital's bull crap day in, day out for the past decade."
Other ideas. Well, he had plenty of those. He'd take her out to dinner some night next week. Maybe Tuesday. Nothing ever happened on a Tuesday. Well, now he'd jinxed himself. Wait, is it only a jinx if one says it out loud? Maybe he was still safe, 'cause he only thought it.

sh*t! In the midst of the pre-sex conversation, the actual sex, and the post-sex coffee, she'd completely forgotten that Angel had booked them for the entire weekend. Quirking her lips in thought, she tried not to think about which she would prefer at this point. The spa weekend would be nice, but going on an actual date? She was shaken from her thoughts when House spoke.
"You...are you...being nice?" She asked, her surprise evident on her face. Just to annoy him, she added in an odd cooing voice: "That is soooo sweet." Cuddy knew it was uncharacteristic of her, but she felt that she didn't have to be an administrator around House. She felt that she could be a real woman. Like he made her feel. She chuckled a little to herself, taking another drink of her coffee. "All right. Just let me know when and where....and how to dress." Giving their past another chance was going to be an interesting ride, that was for sure.

Disgruntled, House let it show on his face. Cuddy's sickeningly sweet voice was annoying him greatly. "Cuddy," House shook his head, "I'm not being nice. I'm being practical. After all, a well rested Cuddy is a Cuddy more forgiving of House. It's entirely selfish." 'Cause he had to make that point. No one was nice for the sake of being nice. No one was noble. It's human nature to be self serving and it's human nature to be interested in self preservation. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
It was nice to see Cuddy chuckling though. House would perish the thought, but... seeing Cuddy happy made him want to burrow into her happy and hope a little bit of that warmth rubbed off. Making a date with Cuddy was odd, but it was something to which he could adjust.
"I'll do that," House replied. Thinking about their date and wondering if he should do something special. Would Cuddy expect something special? She knew what she was getting into with him. House mused. Cuddy had some idea of his mercurial nature. She was probably prepared. Well, she did agree to dating him. Stands to reason that she knew what she was getting into.
House shook his head free of his runaround thoughts. He eyed the coffee as though it was to blame. Then he shrugged and finished it off. Setting the mug in the sink, he tossed off a salute to Cuddy, "have a good day, honey buns." He drawled as he picked up his Nintendo DS, aiming to get some maximum game play done in his office.

There he went. "Can't you ever let a joke be a joke?" she asked, curious humor lacing her voice. Finishing her own coffee, Cuddy looked at House for a while, just a contemplative look. Truth be told, she was more than a little curious about what he might be planning. But she wouldn't ask. She would wait, and be surprised, just like the old days. Standing, she made her way to the sink and set her cup next to his. Ignoring the salute, she kissed his cheek.
"You too. Don't work too hard," she returned before turning around and leaving the office.
