The black font against the background is almost impossible to read. Maybe change to white/grey would help. It's not a big issue though if you're set on the black.

Well, black goes with the skin template (I don't make my own skins). The admins have agreed thus far to keep the skin the same, but I can ask again if it's really a problem.

I currently don't have access to the skin/color sceame.... but I think I could do something with the help of our lovely admin. I agree links do tend to disappear behind the dark red. so um. I'll see what I can do.

*sigh* i'll put up a vote in the staff board about changing the skin.....although I seriously can't find anything better than the one we have....if I change the link colors to gray, it will blend in with the category/thread backgrounds. If I change them to white, it will throw off the color balance....
Or I could just get rid of the navigation tree entirely, and we can use the links under the banner to get back to the homepage.
But...I will put up the vote.
