The scene was familiar. The emotions she felt were not. Sure, she'd been fairly depressed before while scoping the bar for potential mates. She'd felt angry, ecstasy, excitement while doing it…Never this feeling. It was a mix between guilt, hopelessness, and complete and utter sadness.
It had been her intent to take another mystery woman home that night. She needed to get her mind off things, and she couldn't use drugs to do that. She wanted to keep her job, thank you very much. Sex and sex only would have to do. Taking a deep, calming breath, Remy scanned the bar. But as hard as she tried, she couldn't escape the horrible way she felt.
The guilt part was the most confusing. Although she'd kissed Foreman once and only once, she still felt horrible about the little thing that she was about to pull off. Her eyes began to brim with tears. Thirteen hastily wiped them from her eyes, cursing herself, and ordering yet another drink in an attempt to assuage her upsetting emotions. Maybe she would go home…No, no, that would not help. She’d probably just sit alone and dwell on things until she finally snapped.
Tears began to spill from her eyes. She desperately tried to wipe them away, but it only left her face even more red and more puffy. Immersed in her own depressing thoughts, Dr. Hadley did not notice the person who sat next to her.

Allison Cameron hardly ever came to the bar. When she did, it was out of desperation - this time, it was different. It was like ... she didn't know how to explain it, really. It was just a spur of the moment decision, more than likely.
Taking a seat next to a person who looked incredibly familiar, she ordered her drink - a sex on the beach, her personal favourite. Taking a sip of it, the person next to her would not leave her mind - she knew who it was, but she simply could not put a name to the face. Instantly, Cameron noticed her eyes all red and puffy, and her motherly instincts kicked in.
"Are you alright?"

"Are you alright?" she heard someone say. Remy jumped in surprise. Looking over, she noticed a blonde woman. Thirteen recognized her as a part of House's former team. Cameron, something Cameron. Honestly, she'd never talked to the woman. She just knew of her, and apparently she was a very kind, goody-goody person.
She had to be. Who else besides that would care whether or not a woman she'd never spoken to was alright. Unless, you know, she was hitting on her which Thirteen highly doubted.
"Yeah. I'm fine," she replied, her voice a bit hard. Remy wiped her eyes one more time, making sure the wetness was completely gone. Thirteen wasn't sure if she really wanted to talk to this Cameron woman, but thought it would be impolite if she ignored her. She took another gulp of her drink before continuing. "You're Cameron, right? Used to work for House..."

"Yeah. I'm fine," Cameron didn't believe it for a moment; not in the slightest. Something was bothering her, and she wanted to ask more, but she let it slide. It was obvious that something was bothering her - Cameron knew that much. But she'd play it cool, getting the message that she should basically shut the hell up.
"You're Cameron, right? Used to work for House..." Cameron smiled and nodded. Now the name was coming back to her. "Remy Hadley, otherwise known as Thirteen, I presume?" The only female on the team - she had been there before. It's never pleasant, but it seemed that Thirteen had the characteristics that Foreman did - from what she had heard, at least.

"That's me," she replied. Thirteen appreciated the fact that Cameron asked no more about her emotional state. Honestly, it was none of her business. Although, it was probably her nature to ask such things and then nurse whoever answered's wounds.
"What're you doing here, anyway?" she asked. Thirteen reasoned that if Cameron could be nosy, so could she. But she might as well be a little more clear about the question she'd just asked. "I mean, you just don't seem the type..."
She might of been the only female on House's team now just as Cameron had once been, but they were completey different in almost all respects. So really, Remy hadn't expected to see her at a bar, especially alone.
[FAIL.]

"What're you doing here, anyway? I mean, you just don't seem the type..." Cameron laughed with a strained expression on her face. Truth be told, she was here because she was incredibly stressed out by her future wedding. In fact, she didn't want the wedding to happen. She loved Chase, and she loved him dearly - but what if, just what if, he died right before her very eyes? She couldn't deal with that again.
Sighing, she ran her fingers through her blonde hair, letting the reflection of her engagement ring give a hint. "Just stressed out ... It's a really bad habit that many people don't know about. Chase wouldn't like it one bit," she said with a bitter laugh. It was true - if Chase found out she did this, he would be incredibly pissed. That's why she didn't tell him. But secrets were kept between both of them - he could at least respect that.
Cameron took a sip of her drink, not used to the flavour - she didn't know what it was, but it was something strong. It made her want to gag, but she ignored it. She shoved the taste out of her mind, taking another sip.
