Wilson pulled into the parking lot of Cafe Spoleto. He managed to snag a spot close to the front entrance. And as he got out of the car he realized that he was starting to get a little nervous. If only he knew that Angel felt the same way.
He walked over to the passenger side and opened up Angel's door.

Angel was doing the best she could keeping her nerves at bay. Watching as they pulled into the parking lot of Cafe Spoleto, her eyes widened. She'd heard of this place, but had never actually gone. She looked over at Wilson with a smile as they parked. When Wilson came over and opened her door, she blushed. "Thank you James," Angel said, getting out of the car and grabbing her purse. "Let it never be said chivalry is dead with you."

His nerves were probably going to get the better of him one day, he hoped that it wouldn't be this day. Not now, in fact... not ever. James knew that he had always had problems with the humans of the female species but... he'd rather not think about it, at least not in this moment anyway. At the moment he just wanted to concentrate solely on Angel and Angel alone. Her green eyes, the way her brown hair swayed in the gentle breeze and the way the color ran in her cheeks as she blushed after his simple act of kindness.
Chivalry. She had called it. James smile and continued to hold open the door for Angel until he was completely sure that she was out of it's way. Once she was in a safe distance, away from the car door, James pushed it with his hand with as little force as possible. It shut with small thud and he locked it quickly - one could never be too careful these days. "Well, thank you very much, Miss Fraser." he commended her, holding out his arm in a chivalrous way, smiling at her gently. "Now, are you ready for this date to commence, or shall we spend our night out here in this spot, talking about endless objects listly, ah, such frivolities that would be." James chuckled slightly and tucked a loose piece of shirt back into his pants.

Angel chuckled at his calling her Miss Fraser. Making sure she was away from the car, she looked at the restaurant of choice. "Yes, I have waited for this date with bated and anxious breath." She smiled, accepting his arm. Feeling that familiar jolt of electricity between them, she let him lead her towards the restaurant. "I'm so glad we're finally dating." She sighed contently. She was so happy being around him, with him. She didn't care who saw them together, she was proud to be on his arm.

"Well, that is all fine and dandy with me." James smiled down at her as he waited for her to take his arm so that they could both walk up the path to the restaurant that had been picked out. A shiver of some sorts raced down his spine at such a contact and James couldn't help but shuddered somewhat as he started to lead her in the general direction of the restaurant. I'm so glad we're finally dating. James nodded, temporarily unable to engage his voice box. "I'm so glad you said yes, I was afraid that you might hit me at first. It was frightful."

"Hit you?" Angel laughed. "After everything we've done, a date wouldn't be something I'd hit you for." She smiled. She thought back to getting locked in the clinic room, getting caught by House in Wilson's office... "Definitely time for an actual date." She smiled as they entered the restaurant. "It looks so nice here." She said, taking in everything around her. The smell of the food made her stomach grumble a bit, and she hoped it wasn't too audible. A waiter looked a the two of them and smiled.
"Do you have reservations?" He inquired.

"Well, yes, but I mean, ah, erm. Hm." Stuttering over his words. James did that quite a bit. It was part of his nervous disposition around girls. Although it seemed to be taming down quite a bit, more and more when he spent this much time with Angel, funnily enough. The time they had been caught together in his own office by his friend, House, had been the most memorable moment between them, it was rather funny, hilarious. But, best not dwell on the past when the present was so much more better, as of right now anyway. "Of course, of course." James nodded and looked direct at the Maitre'D. "Yes, as a matter of fact we do have reservations. Wilson, James is the name and this fine lady is my company, accompaniement, date. Lovely. Yes." He was doing it again, stuttering. The waiter simply nodded, grabbed a couple of menus and led the pair to their table - a booth at the back.

"You're cute when you stutter." Angel teased. Still holding his arm, she followed the Maitre'D. She blushed when he introduced her as his date, and she knew she'd get used to being his date. "Oo a booth." She smiled, as they were led to the booth in the back. "I can see the rest of the restaurant and yet we're still secluded too." She reluctantly let go of Wilson's arm and slid into the booth, waiting for Wilson to join her. She accepted the menu and glanced over it. Everything looked so good.
"Would the couple care for something to drink?" A waiter inquired.

"Haha.." Nothing like nervous laughter.
James took the menu from the Maitre'D as he waited for Angel to climb into the booth before he slid his posterior next to the lovely Miss Angel and flipped the menu to the first page, of... one. "Prehaps it is wiser for us to be seated here, rather than out there where lots of people can see us." Us, me, especially me and my awkwardness. He added silently, scanning down the page to see what delights there was to eat. Mm, chicken. "Er, yes, please." James nodded to himself when the waiter asked if they would like drinks. "Could I please have a Green Iced Tea and the fair lady will have, a, err.." James turned to Angel, forgetting what she liked.

"You're not awkward." Angel smiled. "It's just nerves, and it's only normal." She reassured him, placing her hand on his. She looked over the menu again but looked up when the waiter inquired if they would like anything to drink. "I'll take a plain ice tea thank you." She smiled, returning her gaze to the menu. The waiter nodded and left the two alone. Everything looked good, but she decided to settle on the lasagna. "I think I know what I'm having, how about yourself?" She inquired.

Haha, if he wasn't awkward then what the hell was this feeling that he was currently experiencing? "Nerves? Are you sure?" James almost jumped at the sudden contact of her hand against his, trying to not let that show, he placed his over hand over hers briefly before turning back to the menu to see what he wanted to eat. Chicken, lasagna, bolognaise, pasta, pizza, most of these seemed to be rather messy. Eh, what the heck; if the worst came to the worst he'd just ask for some more napkins; yeah, good idea. "Thank you, sir." James smiled and finally settled on the Chicken Parma. Mm, sounded good, very good. "Mm, I think I'm going to go with the Chicken Parma. How about yourself?"

"Of course I'm sure." Angel reassured him. She smiled at him, hoping to calm his nerves. "Come on now, we've done other things, this should be a walk in the park." She said, her hand still on his. She knew how he felt though. Her nerves were on edge since he asked her on the date that morning. When he mentioned what he was going to order, she smiled. "Mm that does sound good. I think I'm going to have the lasagna." She stated, putting her menu down. She wanted to ask a million questions all at once, but knew that she'd have to slow down her thought process. They'd already made out, nearly had sex and slept together, yet there were still things they didn't know about each other. "So, what's your family like?" She inquired.

Well, that was good. As long as Angel was sure then he was sure to be sure too, it was all good. Fun times and the like. Wilson smiled. "Then lasagna you shall have my fair lady." Wilson smiled a little more and looked over at the waiter who came over to take their orders after placing their drinks on the table. "Lasagna for the pretty lady and Chicken Parma for the gentleman, please and thank you kind sir." Once the waiter had taken their orders, Wilson picked up his drink and took a sip before being faced with the question. "My... family, uh." What could he say? "Well, I have two brothers, a mother and a father. How about you?"

Pink painted Angel's cheeks when Wilson called her pretty. She knew she shouldn't be acting like this, but she couldn't help it. Wilson made her feel like herself, like she was worth the love they had for each other. Taking a sip of her drink, she listened as Wilson explained his family situation. "My mother is a nurse at Newton Memorial hospital, my father worked there too until his death." She said, her smile faltering. Pushing aside that memory, she turned back to him. "I was an only child, and I enjoyed being the only one." Her smile returned though at the thought of her next question. "So how exactly did you meet House?"

Smooth move, Casanova. James told himself after calling Angel pretty since he had originally thought that 'pretty' as a mere understandment. Angel was simply ravishing and he was going to make a point of telling her that... later on in the night. Prehaps after a glass of wine.. or two, maybe seven - but wait, then he wouldn't be able to drive. Okay, maybe just two. Her father died? Why did he not know this! Almost choking on his Green Iced Tea when she mentioned that her father had died, James shot her a sympathetic look. "Aw, my condolences, Angel." his tone genuine, but he pushed it no further when she changed the subject and went on about how she was an only child. "Oh, erm... how I met House." Yeah, he wasn't so sure he wanted to divulge that information.
