Wilson wrapped his arms around Angel. He couldn't remember the last time he had been this happy and content. It felt great. Wilson drifted back into a dreamless sleep. The first rays of sunlight coming through the window woke him up. He carefully unwrapped himself from Angel but stayed in the bed, not quite ready to get up yet.

Angel a woke next morning, feeling some what rested. She rolled over to find Wilson still in her bed. "Good morning." She mumbled, propping herself up on her elbow. "Thank you, for sleeping with me." She said softly, kissing his cheek. "For that, I shall make you breakfast." She chuckled, giving him a small hug before sitting up.

"It was my pleasure," Wilson said with a smile. "You really don't have to make me breakfast," he added, sitting up. He could always go back to House's and make his own breakfast...On second thought, though, Cuddy was probably still there. He didn't want to disturb them. "But if you really want me to stay, I will."

"Aw come on, I make really good french toast." Angel gave a small pout. "Of course I want you to stay." She smiled, swinging her legs off the side of the bed. Stretching, she looked over at him. "You can either stay in bed or you can join me in the kitchen." She said, looking at him as she moved around to the door.

Staying in bed sounded really good but Wilson knew if he did that he'd never be getting up today. He got up and followed closely behind Angel into the kitchen. "Is there anything I can help with?" Wilson asked, not wanting to feel completely useless. He was a good cook, even though House would beg to differ.

Smiling as she entered the kitchen, she looked around. "Hm something to do..." She mused. Pulling out the chair to the table, she motioned for him to sit. "Yes, you can sit. You are a guest, you don't need to worry." She smiled before beginning to move around the kitchen. She knew her way around and in no time, the french toast was cooking in a frying pan. "Coffee? Tea? Me?" She teased, winking at him. She knew they'd agreed to take things slow, but a little flirting never hurt anyone. "Hm, do we want bacon?" She mused to herself. "Sure why not." Another quick trip to the fridge, she took out some bacon she'd been meaning to cook.

Wilson took the seat that she offered him. "Can I have two?" he teased right back. "Coffee's fine." It felt so weird acting like a guest when he really was a guest. He was so used to House's version of being a good host: making the visitor do everything. This change was something Wilson couldn't complain about. He leaned back in his chair and watched Angel work in the kitchen. He felt so lucky and blessed. Things were finally starting to look up for him.

"You want coffee and tea?" She giggled, moving up behind his chair. She kissed his forehead before going back to finish the bacon. Humming to herself, which she normally did when cooking, she put a pot of coffee on. She didn't mind doing some domestic work, like cooking and some cleaning. She did however loath doing dishes, which was why she owned a dishwasher. She chuckled to herself realizing all she was missing was an apron and she'd be the perfect housewife. Plating the food, she put the plate down in front of Wilson, along with a fork and knife. She then put out the maple syrup and butter. Looking around, she grabbed two mugs, filled them with coffee and juggled her plate with the mugs. "Bon appetite." She said, sliding in to the chair across from him.

"This looks delicious," he said, looking at the plate in front of him. Wilson took a small sip of coffee and then proceeded to eat the bacon. "And it tastes just as good as it looks." This was something he could get used to waking up to every morning. He drank some more of his coffe and then set the cup down. "Thanks for everything, Angel."

"I'm glad you're enjoying it." She smiled, raising her mug of coffee to her lips. Sipping on it slowly, she looked at Wilson. The sight of him in front of her every morning was something she could definitely enjoy and get used to. "You're more than welcome. Thank you too, I've had some of the best sleep I've had in days." Angel nibbled on her food, just happy having someone else in the house. "It's nice to have someone to cook for."

"And it's nice not having to cook for someone," he replied, smirking. Wilson hated to admit, though, that House was sort of right in saying that he liked feeling needed. Hence his current predicament. Angel needed him but House needed him just as much. He finished up his french toast and placed his fork and knife on the empty plate. "I owe you. Would you like to go out to dinner tonight?" he asked, asking her out on their first real date.

Angel smiled, glad that he was happy. As long as he was happy, she'd be happy. She finished up her breakfast and was wiping her mouth when he asked her out. "I'd love to James." She smiled brightly, her cheeks turning pink. Their first date... tonight... Angel could hardly wait. A smile still on her face, she picked up the plate infront of her and moved to remove his. "When and where?" She inquired, putting her plate ontop of his and kissing his cheek.

The two of them were going about things in a backward manner. Making out, sleeping with each other (even though they hadn't done anything), and now going out to dinner. The backtracking was necessary to make their relationship official. "It's a surprise, and I'll pick you up at six," he replied, caressing her cheek and leaning over to give her an affectionate kiss.

"Oo, I like surprises." She chuckled, enjoying the touch of his hand against her cheek and the kiss. Picking up the plates, she moved to the dishwasher. Leaning over the quickly put them in, arranging them next to some other dishes that needed to be done. Angel was definitely excited now, she had something to help her get through the day. "Do I at least get a hint on what to wear?"

Wilson stood up and stretched. "Something nice," he answered, "but not too nice." Like that was going to help her. "A nice shirt and dress pants, a skirt, or whatever." That was a little bit more helpful. "I should get going before House starts to worry too much about me." And Cuddy was probably gone by now.
