"No need to apologize, considering I probably should have stopped you too," She nodded, knowing she should have known better. "I couldn't keep my hands off you either. As we both said, even if it was wrong, it felt so right." She smiled, moving her hand a little higher up his leg then stopped. Patience, Angel, patience she told herself. "Could I, at least, kiss you? Just once." She inquired, wanting to feel his lips against hers again.

Wilson peeped down at Angel's wandering hand, not minding it one bit. It seemed like they were both going to have to work hard at restraining themselves from moving too fast. Wilson looked back up at her when she asked the question. "Well," he said, scratching his chin as if this were a hard choice to make when it really wasn't, "I suppose one, little kiss won't hurt."

"Alright. I promise not to linger.." Too long, she added in her head. Leaning in, she closed her eyes and pressed her lips against his. She cupped his face with her hands, savouring the sensation of his lips against hers. Not wanting to break the kiss, but knowing she'd have to, she pulled away. Feeling much more at ease, she giggled when she noticed the lipstick smudges on his lips. Using her thumb to wipe it away, she smiled. "Seems to feel better every time."

Wilson, eyes closed, didn't want the kiss to end. This time it wasn't wrong at all because they knew now that they were destined to be together. He opened his eyes back up when he felt her pull away. After she had wiped the lipstick off of him, he said, "Then I wonder how it's going to feel twenty years from now." Thinking that far into the future was kind of frightening.

"Pretty damn good." Angel chuckled, interested in how he was thinking of the future. "Although I thought we agreed that we were going to take things slow?" She inquired, smirking and raising an eyebrow. Not that she was complaining. It was always nice to think about the future, and it looked very bright with Wilson in it. "You'll make me weak in the knees... more so than you already do."

A wide grin spread across Wilson's face at Angel's last comment. "I think that we should take things day by day." Thinking too far ahead into the future held the prospect of disappointment. Wilson had thought about his future with Amber so many times, and that future had been cruelly ripped away from him. Taking things day by day was a lot safer.

"Day by day... Makes us sound like alcoholics." She smiled, her hand still on his cheek, stroking it softly. She didn't want to plan ahead, she just wanted to live each day to the fullest, enjoy the time the Goddess gave her with the man she had fallen in love with. "I guess one could say we're drunk on each other, but that would sound a little too cliche and well, overly romantic." She made a grimace, chuckling. "Yeah, no more cheesy romance novels for me."

Wilson chuckled. "Too cliche for my tastes too." He stole a quick glance at his watch. Time flies when you're having fun. "I have a meeting with a patient soon. I should get going." Wilson gave Angel a quick peck on the lips. He stood up. "I'll see you around." How great it was going to be to actually be able to talk to each other again without any awkwardness involved. He headed out of her office with that thought in his mind.

"Aw," She said, giving him the best pout she could muster. When he gave her a quick peck she blushed, her cheeks turning pink again. This man made her blush more than she had in ages. Not that she was complaining. She watched him leave, her heart racing. Well, at least they were passed the awkward part. She missed being able to talk to Wilson. Shaking her head, she moved back to her desk, a smile on her lips as she went about doing the work she had set out to do before Wilson had arrived.
