They had been avoiding each other for far too long now. They couldn't keep avoiding each other. Wilson and Angel had to have the conversation sometime. Now was good a time as any to have it. Wilson walked from his office to Angel's. He knocked on her door, hoping that she was in there.

Angel was inspecting the new walking cast she had got, hoping to finally be able to ditch the crutches she had started to hate using. Hearing a knock on her office door, Angel wondered who it would be. She didn't have any consults, but it could be one of the doctors working under her needing help. "Come in." She called, loud enough for the person to hear from behind the door.

Wilson the door and walked in. "We can't keep avoiding each other forever," he said, getting down to the issue right away. "What we did was completely wrong and unprofessional at the time but now that we've both had time to think about it, we should talk." Wilson sat down on her couch and waited for Angel to join him.

Angel looked up at who had just entered her office. She had wanted to make up an excuse and leave, but she knew he had a point. "No, we can't keep avoiding each other." She sighed heavily, standing up from behind her desk.
"I agree that at the time what we did was very unprofessional, and it was a good thing House interrupted us." She continued, moving to sit beside him on the couch. "Look, I did some thinking, and I really feel I should tell you." She paused trying to gather her thoughts. "I like you. Not just like as in friend, but like as in, well besides wanting to get into your pants." She blushed. She hated talking about her emotions sometimes. "I know I lost my ex, and I know you lost your girlfriend. I just feel as though we complete each other."

Wilson smiled. "I've been doing some thinking too...I feel the same way. But we're both going to be keeping our pants on until you heal," he added, chuckling. "We've got to take things slow if we don't want House yelling at us again." That had been one interesting day that Wilson didn't want to repeat again.
Wilson wasn't sure what they should do now that they had finally admitted their feelings for each other. There was the Valentine's Day party coming up soon but he felt it was too soon to ask her out on a real date.

Giving a small laugh at Wilson's comment about keeping it in their pants, she blushed a little. "Yes doctor." She said, bemused. She was relieved when Wilson felt the same, but she had no clue where they would go from here. "I don't think I would want to rush into anything."
Placing her hand on Wilson's knee, she looked up at him with a smile. "You're different than most men I've dated. Around you, I can relax, I can be myself. That's something I don't want to ruin, to rush into." She bit her lower lip. "God I'm glad we won't be awkward around each other anymore. That was pure torture."

Wilson placed his hand on top of hers. "I never thought I'd fall in love again." He laughed at her next comment. "You're right. That was torture." Things were going to be different from now on. Wilson could already feel it. There was certainly no more tension in the air now that they knew how they felt about each other.
"There's some things you should know about me first, Angel," he said, thinking about his three ex-wives and not knowing that Cuddy had already told Angel about them.

Angel felt that familiar jolt of electricity run through her when he placed his hand on top of hers. She was glad things were alright between them again. "Love is a fickle thing. Just when you think you can't fall in love again, someone walks into your life and throws it for a loop." She smiled, knowing exactly how he felt.
Angel had a pretty good idea what Wilson was about to tell her, but she figured she'd let him tell her anyways. "You have a kid?" She teased. "No no, let me guess... You're a cross dresser?"

"I have five kids and...I'm not really a man," Wilson teased right back. How interesting things would be if one of those two things really was true. Getting serious again, Wilson said, "I have a track record of failed marriages. The last one ended because of her...the other two because of me." He couldn't bring himself to tell her why those marriages failed, though.

"I knew it!" She chuckled, then sighed as the conversation took a serious turn again. Nodding as he explained that he had three failed marriages, she wondered what had caused them. "I have a feeling this time things will be different. I mean I don't want to rush into marriage or anything. I mean all women dream of marriage, and I'm definitely like the rest of them in that case.." She stopped herself. "My god I'm babbling." Taking a deep breath to calm herself down, she looked at him. "All good relationships are based on trust and honesty. I believe that when you're ready, you'll tell me why your marriages failed." She smiled, placing her other hand on his cheek.

Wilson had to try really hard to keep a straight face, lest he start laughing which Angel could take the wrong way. He thought her babbling was cute. Getting married again, though...well, that was one of the last things on his mind. "Thanks for understanding, Angel," he said. Wilson leaned over and kissed her on the cheek, afraid that too much physical contact would lead to what happened the other day.

"We all have baggage." Angel sighed, her cheeks turning pink when he kissed her. "Whenever you're ready." She stated, she was willing to wait. However long it took, she was ready to wait. He was worth it after all. "You're worth the wait. However long," She smiled, so relaxed with him. She could just crawl up with him right now on the couch and just fallen asleep with him. Her sleep had been restless, ever since the accident and no amount of pills seemed to help. "I'll be here."

Wilson could only wonder if Angel was going to sing a different tune when she found out about his tendency to cheat. He could only hope that when she found out she didn't think any less of him for it. But he wouldn't be surprised if she did. Adultery was a serious sin.
"Hopefully you won't have to wait too long. I don't want to make a pretty lady like you have to wait too long."

"I'm sure I won't." Angel chuckled, knowing that this probably wouldn't take long for the two of them to start dating. Her mind began to wonder what could have possibly ended his three marriages, being unfaithful was definitely one of the top reasons. Somehow she couldn't see him as the one being unfaithful. Even so, the past was the past, and she was pretty sure he could keep his wandering eyes from wandering past her. "Besides, I think after the other day's little show, it's safe to say it won't be long."

Wilson chuckled right along with Angel. "I feel that I need to apologize for that. I was a hypocrite. I told you not do to any activities along that line for a few months, and yet I just couldn't keep my hands off of you." Not that she had minded it, Wilson reminded himself. And now he had to keep reminding himself that good things come to those who wait.
