House sure was a piece of work. "What Angel and I do is none of your business." That was a lame excuse but, the way Wilson saw it, he didn't owe House any kind of an explanation. "Don't you have someone else you can go bother?" Wilson asked in a futile attempt to get him out of his office. Wilson was in no mood to listen to House lecture about how stupid there were---about how Angel should be taking it easy.

Angel glared at House when he commented that she was a ho. "I am not a ho." She grumbled, remaining seated on the couch. She couldn't do much anyways considering her foot was still in a cast. "We are grown adults House, and I'm sure I can handle some fun." She stated blandly, crossing her arms across her chest.
"Would you please leave..." She added, picking up her laptop. "We don't need someone babysitting the babysitter." She grumbled. Maybe it was a good thing House had interrupted though. She wasn't sure what was going on between her and Wilson, so it was better to not have continued. Things would be awkward now between them. "Maybe I should just go home." She sighed, packing up her laptop.

"It's my business because I was the attending doctor on her case," House retorted. "I've seen the x-rays, the CT scans. I saw her when she came in, listened to her forget three simple words within seconds of my informing her of them, saw her confusion, her anguish-- so don't tell me it's none of my business." He took a breath, realizing that he had lost control at some point. He ducked his head down, like he was trying to avoid a blow.
"Right," he muttered, "never mind. Go ahead and break your new girlfriend before she's even out of the packaging," House moved to the hallway door, not really wanting to brave the cold again. "I don't even know why I bothered. And you are a ho, Angel." He yanked open the door with a smirk and left. He was glad Angel was at least considering going home. She really shouldn't be at work so soon.

Wilson let House rant and breathed a small sigh of relief when he did leave. He sat back down at his desk and looked over at Angel packing up her things. "You probably should go home," he reluctantly agreed. Wilson didn't even bother offering to take her, knowing already that her answer would most likely be along the lines of, 'No. That's okay. I'm fine.'

"Thanks for keeping me company Wilson." She said meekly. She inwardly kicked herself for even having considered coming into work today. Of course hadn't really known that the recent events would have happened. "I guess I'll see you around then." She said as she picked up her lab coat, laptop bag and crutches. Leaning on them, she made her way to the door, giving Wilson one last glance. She was kind of hurt that he hadn't offered to drive her home, but maybe it was for the best. She left, closing the door behind her, cursing at herself for doing something so rash. Sighing, she made her way home.
