Medical History
-Any problems At the age of three months She recieved seven skull fractures in her head also resulting in a large Himitoma (blodclot on the brain) This had not only killed about 30 percent of her brain, but it left her with some physical dissabbilities. For the first year and a half she suffered complete blindness and deafness as well as paralisis to the right side of her body. As she grew, her brain learned to adabt and she regained some site (mostly light and color vision) and all of here hearing, though there is some ressive damage due to the missing brain (it had to be removed to remove the clot, and prevent more swelling problems)
While her blindness remains, she also has Cerbal Palsey (cp) A condition where the connection between her brain and muscles becomes non-existant or confused. Side effects include trimmors, inabbility to properly since pain on the right side, (or in general meaning she tends to feel things either worse than a normal person, or not at all) It leaves her tired quite easily. To remidy this she travels in a wheelchair, to mainly prevent accidents seeing as falling at random is a direct result of the missing or misfired connection between her brain and the muscles that control her abbility to move. The correct full name is this condition is Cerbal Palsey himaprisis (half paralsis for Kayla prodomantly on her right side seeing as her Cp is a direct result of blunt force trama to the brain)
Unlike those born with a form of it, her has the poticinal to get worse as she ages instead of mataining a state of normacely. For this reason, she is screaned as often as possable to ensure things haven't gotten out-of-control.

Kayla sighed rubbing her temples. How she had been talked into going into the medical field she didn't know. Perhaps being a girl living with several challenges, had helped push her. It had been difficult going through medical school and residancy, but she had done it. Now here she sat, pushing herself forward crusing the halls of her newest job. One in a teaching hospital no less. Ironic really that she thought about it. Funny how she had just completed her residentcey only to end up in a "teaching " hospital. The old saying "you can always learn something new" floated through her mind time and again.
However today, Kayla was simply the one heading to the Dean of Medicine's office. She had some last minute things that needed to be finished up before she could start her job. She could only hope she wasn't late. If it was one thing Kayla hated, was being late. Yet while wheeling herself through the halls, the pending fear of not making it on time kept nagging at the bag of her mind.
