After having spent an exhausting couple of hours with patients, Angel had retreated to her office. She was tired, wanting to escape just for a couple of minutes. Closing her door, she closed the blinds on the windows that flanked the door. She dashed over to her stereo and popped in a CD she hadn't listened to in a long while. Clicking on the right song, she moved back towards the desk as the music started.
"He had it coming, he had it coming. He only had himself to blame. If you'd have been there, if you'd have seen it...I betcha you would have done the same!" She sang in tune with the music. Having enjoyed singing as a child, she had landed a roll in her high school's version of Chicago. As the song continued, she began to remember the dance routine she had committed to memory.

She had looked everywhere. In her coat pockets, in her lab coat pockets, in her desk, on her desk, everywhere. She'd moved papers around, moved some of her furniture around, even, but she couldn't find it. Maybe she had dropped it? Where, though?
Angel's office. As the thought hit her, she sighed. Now she had no choice but to go back. Not that she didn't want to see Angel again...it was just that there was no way that Cuddy could take the time off to go to a spa at the moment, and she didn't want to have to reject another invitation. Leaving her office, she walked up to the elevator, punching the button for the fourth floor when the doors opened.
When the doors opened again, she walked quickly to Angel's office, seeing immediately that the blinds were closed. Was she with a patient? If so, Cuddy could come back later. 'Stop putting this off!' her mind nagged. Knocking once on the door, she opened it slightly.
"Doctor Fraser? Sorry to bother you, but have you..." she trailed off as she looked into the room. Well. This was certainly odd. "Seen my cell phone....." she finished slowly.

Angel was lost within the dancing that she hadn't heard Cuddy knock and enter. She continued to sing as she turned around and stopped dead. Feeling suddenly embarrassed to see Cuddy watching her, she blushed. "Dr. Cuddy, this isn't what it looks like..." She said, trying to right herself. Hanging her head, she sighed. "Actually, it is exactly what it looks like. I just got caught up in the song." She gave a small chuckle. "What brings you to my office?"

Cuddy nodded. This was exactly why she didn't have a stereo in her office. "I'm sure," she said, not meaning to sound condescending. She was too busy glancing quickly around the room to even notice what she was saying. "My cell phone. I can't find it anywhere in my office. I thought that maybe it had fallen out of my lab coat pocket when I was up here earlier." She narrowed her eyes and cocked her head to the side. "You haven't seen it, by any chance, have you?" Maybe it had fallen into the seat cushions....

Angel continued to blush as she listened to what Cuddy was looking for. She couldn't believe she had just been caught by her boss dancing in her office. "Oh.. so that's who's cell phone I found." Angel said, moving to her desk. She opened the top drawer and removed the cell phone. "I thought it may have been a patient's. I was going through some of my paper work when I heard something vibrating in my couch." She stated, handing it to Cuddy. "Now at first I thought it may have been House leaving something such as a remote controlled vibrating panties or something between the cushions of my couch just to get a rise out of me..." She shook her head. Really, she hadn't put it passed the man.

Laughing slightly at the notion, Cuddy gratefully took the small black device from Angel. Noticing that she did, indeed, have a missed call, she figured she should return it soon.
"That does sound like something he would do..." she agreed, going back to the first two weeks House had worked at the hospital. Some vague memory about a remote controlled noise-making machine hidden under her chair. Shaking her head slightly at the memory, she slipped the phone safely back into her lab coat pocket.

"Well, I'm glad to have helped." Angel said, leaning against her desk. She wondered whether there was anything else Cuddy felt like talking about. "I was thinking, maybe we could schedule that spa day sometime over the weekend? I know a wonderful spa hotel that offers over night pampering packages." She suggested, that way they wouldn't miss work hours.

A weekend? An entire weekend with Angel? Cuddy turned over the thought in her head for all of two seconds. It would certainly be an interesting experience. And not in a way that emulated their previous behavior.
"Sounds like fun. I've never really been to an overnight spa before," she commented with a small smile. She'd been to plenty of day spas when she was in college and med school. She'd stopped having time for such indulgences when she'd started working. "This weekend?" she asked, knowing that she'd have plenty of time to rework her schedule if she had to.

"They're really nice. You get this amazing bedroom, big comfy bed, meals, whatever spa treatments you want..." Angel sighed dreamily, remembering the last time she had gone. "Just a girls get away weekend." She smiled, looking at the older woman.
"It should be fun." Angel hoped it would be. She really wanted to get along with everyone at work, although she knew that wouldn't happen. There was bound to be a few that she wouldn't work well with. Cuddy though, seemed like a decent person, and Angel wanted to call her a friend. Most of her good friends were living elsewhere, so she didn't have many to hang out with on regular basis.
"This weekend works for me."

Cuddy sighed at the thought of such lavish treatment. Her smile widened as she pictured all of the stress of being a hospital administrator melt away. It would truly be amazing. She could almost feel the clay mask and the skilled hands of a masseuse.
There weren't a lot of doctors under her command that she could actually call friends. Except for House and Wilson, but recently, she hadn't been sure they deserved that title anymore. "Great. You make the reservations, and I'll schedule this entire weekend off for both of us, starting this Friday night." It was going to feel good to escape the pressures of administration for a while. Cuddy didn't get that chance often enough, but when she did, she took it.

"I'll make the reservations as soon as I can." Angel nodded, glad that Cuddy had agreed. "I know the staff at this place, I can get us a very good deal." She chuckled, moving to stand behind her desk. She couldn't wait to be in the capable hands of Vincent, her masseuse. He had the hands of a god. "Alright, meet me in the lobby Friday and we'll drive up after work."

Cuddy nodded, glad that finally, she was going to have a chance to unwind. She had no doubt that they would be getting their money's worth out of this weekend. "All right. I have to go reorganize my schedule, just to make sure I can leave when I'm supposed to on Friday." Cuddy hated having to stay at the hospital after hours, just because it was time that she could otherwise spend relaxing. She knew she shouldn't feel that way; she was in charge of the whole hospital, after all. "See you, then." Making sure she still had her cell phone in her lab coat pocket, she turned to leave.
"Bring that CD with you. We can listen to it on the way," she suggested before walking out.
